Hinaki

Last term and a bit of this term we are making hinaki. A hinaki is a trap to catch eels that Maori used in the earlier days. We had to learn how to use drills, measure properly and cut wood properly. It was fun making hinaki.

This term we are going to be looking at Persuasive Writing, which will follow onto speech and debating writing.
Also we are starting to look at sentence construction and then we are moving into developing strong language features.
